Altium Packaging, a leading customer-centric packaging manufacturer, launched an updated version of its digital product catalog, featuring an updated design, better technology, and an overall better user experience. The catalog features more than 500 product solutions and has a number of new features that enhance the user experience, enabling it to act as a portal between Altium and its customers. The catalog update is one piece of an overall upgrade to the Altium website.
“Innovation has always been a priority for Altium, so when it came time for us to update our product catalog we knew we wanted to create something that was more than just a static catalog available online. We wanted to create a total user experience,” said Andrea Campbell, Sr. Director of Marketing. “The new catalog not only makes it easy for our customers to search and access products, but it also allows them to see 3D images of the products and place them in real-world simulations.”
The new features include:
- AR and 3D capabilities for product views
- Nested product listings
- Simplified product pages
- Dark mode
- Filters to increase product searchability
- Tagging of special and eco features
“Having eco-friendly filter choices for product searches was important , as sustainability is a fundamental principle for us,” said Andrea Campbell, Sr. Director of Marketing. “We work hard to ensure customers have the best user experience browsing our website and catalog, and I believe this update not only meets, but exceeds, those goals.”
