This acquisition, combined with the acquisition of Montreal based DeltaPac in the second quarter of this year, will be the foundation for CCC’s launch of its Dura-Lite® family of packaging for food, beverage, and industrial markets. 

Sean R. Fallmann, President and Chief Executive Officer of CCC, also said,

To date, CCC has shipped over 300 million Dura-Lite® bottles to customers throughout the United States—including several national beverage manufacturers. Dura-Lite® containers are available in gallon, half-gallon, quart, and industrial round gallon sizes, presenting customers the opportunity to leverage a matched set of bottles with similar aesthetic features and improved performance characteristics.

Dura-Lite® Industrial Gallon bottles are compatible with multiple neck finishes and have footprints specifically designed to work well in existing automotive, household cleaner, cooking oil, and beverage fill lines and downstream supply chains.

Envision Plastics confirms that the U.S. FDA has issued a letter of no objection regarding the suitability of Envision’s flagship product, EcoPrime, when used at levels up to 100% in HDPE packaging for fatty foods and spirits under FDA’s Conditions of Use A through H. The FDA letter makes EcoPrime the only post-consumer recycled HDPE resin for which FDA has granted a favorable review for use in packaging all food types up to retort temperature conditions.
